Four gifts that God has for you this Christmas
fulfilled to the letter the prophecy of Isaiah, and says the Gospel of Luke chapter 1 verse 26;
the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and he name of the virgin was Mary and the angel went to her and said, Hail favored one, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, over her when she saw him she was troubled at his words and thought, that greeting would be this. Then the angel told Mary not fear because you have found favor with God, and now conceive in your womb and bear a son and call his name Jesus, this is great and will be called the Son of the Highest and the Lord God give him the throne of David his father.
Verse 46
Mary said: My soul doth magnify the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
Ladies and gentlemen is precisely why this holiday season, when millions of people are guardians of a spirit of melancholy, sad and very lonely? Why is it just at Christmas, when millions of people are driven deep into their emotions and feelings, as in any other time of year? It is precisely at this time that we all seek to give us something to each other. The reason is found in the Bible, the Word of God because the Bible shows us that the world celebrates the birth of Jesus, and although not born, even 24 or 25 December, mankind uses to celebrate the birth of the Son of God who became flesh to give mankind a concrete idea, defined and tangible that kind of being is God, so when you think about God, think of Jesus Why? Because Jesus was God in the flesh. The Gospel of John chapter 1 verse 18 says, "and saw that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth"
The appearance of this being the last 2000 years on earth, is the central event in the history of mankind. No one in or anywhere in the world celebrates when Buddha was born, no one held at the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, nor is paralyzed trade, banks and governments still atheists, for in many parts of humanity to celebrate, not only his birth but also the famous Holy Week, the passion death and resurrection How tremendous Jesus shocked the humanity? He is at the mouth of Satanic rock groups, and people who mock God, attack the person of Jesus Christ, Buddha, because they do not attack, attack because Mahatma Gandhi, Krishna, or other gurus, or the Dalai Lama Why Christ is the center of history, the center of the dispute, and the center of scorn and even ridicule, of millions of human beings?
Christ lived the most extraordinary life no human has ever lived. Christ was the man most compassionate, most tender, the gentlest, most humble, more meek than anyone else, and the most merciful who ever lived. The death of Christ was one of the most unjust deaths, and the trial of Christ has been in the annals of jurisprudence the most cruel, the vilest, and most treacherous of how many people have been tried before in humanity. It is in this Christmas season, I repeat, if we care to give us gifts to one another, and yet people continue to ignore that the greatest gifts God gave them not 2000 years ago in the person of His Son Jesus Christ.
This morning I want to share with you four gifts that God has for you this Christmas. The four largest gifts many of you, this morning, can receive absolutely free What was it that God offers, or offers in the person of Jesus Christ? First, we offer as a first gift, a Director . Notice that in Isaiah 9:6 the word that was given to the Messiah was wonderful, counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. All human beings every day is just more confused, the world had never been so confused in politics, economy, religions, in morals, ethics, etc. etc. and are looking for different philosophies and different religions, and the pleasures that only the person of Christ can offer.
I ask you, when you have a problem in your marriage Who do you go for advice, the heart doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist? when you have a problem with your children "to turn to for advice? unless many of you who mistakenly believe that in marriage there are no problems, or that many of you believe their children are always going to be saints, and we will call the Martin de Porres in the colony, or unless you believe that in life there are no problems not to educate their grandchildren, to work, live, and life is full of problems, and the Bible shows us that human beings are inadequate, incompetent, inadequate for the solution to the problems of our home with our children, and our work Why? because human beings have not turned their eyes to God.
And the Bible shows that it is in the person of Christ, whom God appointed for Him to come into the person of the Holy Spirit into our hearts, and since we receive Christ in our life, thereafter know that we will face many problems, and will face giants, and walls, and all your strengths, but problems, all our fortunes, and all our obstacles will be staggered by the power and wisdom of God.
In the Gospel of John chapter 14 verse 15 to 17 Christ says "If ye love me, keep my commandments, and I will pray the Father, and will give you another Comforter" Comforter this word is a word that the Greek is written parakletos with k, parakletos, meaning "one who is called alongside someone to comfort, strengthen, encourage and propel you to live" you look that life without Christ is difficult to live (... ) each day that passes and we are overwhelmed problems, as there are millions of people who can face life without Jesus Christ, and this is the reason why humanity is mired in alcoholism, drugs, tax evasion in the theft, fraud in the crime, and for this reason too many people seek suicide. Christ said that we would send a Comforter, and you notice it says "to be with you forever, the Spirit of truth, whom the world can not receive, because you do not see or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be within you. " In John 14 verse 26 says Christ "over the comforter, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things, and remind you all that I have said "
We see that the Bible offers us the gift of God, to give you this Christmas, this morning, before leaving that door, you bring your home a comforter inside you, so when you have a problem in your marriage, you know that the world is over when a child runs away from our house, and escapes from our home, not the world is over when you have a debt too large you can not pay, not over the world, because there is a door open, there is a sounding board, there is a solution, but you have to humble yourself and recognize that only Jesus Christ will You can give peace, only in the Bible you will find the appropriate advice and guidance to continue living, and continue to educate your child, and keep bringing the solution to the problems of your own home. We see that Jesus Christ this morning, in the person of the Son of God, brings us to the Holy Spirit, and you need to realize that you need a Counselor, a Comforter, to live the rest of your days in peace that only God can give.
