Bogotá 1943. Bachelor of Journalism at the University of Havana where he won prizes in poetry, and 83 at the Central University of Bogotá. For twenty five years he taught at various universities in Bogotá and held workshops for poetry and short story in the House of Poetry Silva and the External University of Colombia. He has exhibited in China ink pens and acrylic in Havana and Bogotá.
