What is this book, that makes it so shocking and necessary at the same time, joyful and painful? 'Bible of the poor' could be a reminder of what it was before the book of poetry or school: reports to recall that it was, or that nobody remembers, verbal exercises to express solidarity. In these pages of poetry sits beside us like an old stranger, without a country or race, and kindle in our table a small lamp.

Very few books had described our fields and misfortunes with a peculiar language. To read it is to attend a painful sequence of our own spoils. But this poem does not stop at the claim. Each poem is a great loss, but also a crack in time, an imaginary window, which invites us to go the distance. These pages show us, between the hell of the streets, a city within a city more livable, we carry on the crumbs from his pocket when we left it. A country of fog and rivers that refuses to disappear from the imagination.
